| 1) | Paul Robinson liked fishing very much. |
| 2) | In the summer he went out fishing every evening, |
| 3) | and in the winter he fished on Saturdays and Sundays. |
| 4) | His wife Joan did not see him very much. |
| 5) | Then one day last summer Paul said to her, |
| 6) | "I'm going to have two weeks' holiday this year, |
| 7) | and we're going to go to Scotland and fish there." |
| 8) | "And what am I going to do?" said Joan. |
| 9) | "You're going to fish with me," Paul answered. |
| 10) | They went to Scotland |
| 11) | and fished there for two weeks. |
| 12) | Then they came home, |
| 13) | and Joan talked to her neighbor, Mrs. Andrews, |
| 14) | about her fishing trip |
| 15) | with her husband. |
| 16) | "I did everything wrong on the trip," |
| 17) | she said to her. |
| 18) | "I talked loudly in the boat |
| 19) | and the fish were afraid. |
| 20) | I put the wrong things on my hook, |
| 21) | I pulled my line in very quickly … |
| 22) | and I caught a lot more fish than Paul did." |
